cos got to really put aside many extra stuff to save time
and concentrate on mugging for the prelims and Os

guess i'll update my blog since sinli is asking. heh

yesterday

went to school early in the morning for chem practical
met danson and we did titration with 405
it was quite funny that he was testing my english in the lesson
he was getting me to pronounce some words and guess their meanings

the titration was okay
the more i did it, the more i enjoyed it!
cos it was fun getting a change in colour at the endpoint
good thing no purple KMnO4 spilled on my shirt
cos mr. lim shared a humorous story
about how a student tried to remove KMnO4 stain on his shirt by titrating it off
and when the shirt was put in the washing machine,
it tore pieces of cloth due to the chemicals weakening the fibres of the shirt
as for me, i didnt have to risk getting my shirt ripped into pieces. phew!

when i got home, i could use the comp cos it was finally fixed. yay!
it was updated, faster, less irritating without those ' do you want to debug?' windows, etc
so i downloaded maple! haha
played my character for while
but soon got bored
then went to help my sis train her runescape character's magic
was spending away lots of her money to buy runes, much to her dismay
but i continued and reasoned that sooner or later she'll have to spend the money. lol
well, the games may be lame
but they're good outlets to destress

in the evening, i was in a dilemma
whether or not to go for 1hr of chemistry tuition
but in the end decided to stay at home and rest
and that decision really paid off
cos i slept for almost 5hrs until 10pm

then when i got up, i found my sis playing comp
i asked her, 'you played computer all this time i was sleeping!?!'
she said, 'no la, i just started. was watching tv before this'
lol. no matter wad, 5hrs of doing these two things was alot!

then later in the night i read 1 Samuel in the rainbow bible
and i must say that the colours do help keep me going
oh! thank God for colours!
so read about 7 chapters, i think
then went to sleep
it was 2am by then

today

i woke up early today, at about 10.30am
and wanted to continue from where i left off last night
i was really interested in reading about Samuel
cos i've got the same name as him. obvious isn't it?
how he grew up in the Lord was amazing
cos Hannah, his mum, handed his life over to God from young
and Samuel grew up to be one of the best leaders of the Israelites

when i finished i went to turn on the comp
and found that my sis had already turned it on the moment she got up
that was the very first thing she did today before brushing her teeth. haha
i played maple for a while
and was glad it was still early in the day
soon, i let her take over

then it was down to some serious work
took out the a-maths tys to do the nov/oct 2006 paper
cos i had to get the papers done by thu for mrs. lim's a-maths remedial
for those of you who know her, it's best to get your work done before her class. haha

i must admit i found it hard to start off
was sitting in the same room as my sis
i kept looking over at the computer screen. heh
and she levelled up our perfect mage to level 29
i even tried to convince her to continue training up to level 30
but she decided to do quests. hah

as i persisted on with the a-maths paper 1 and 2, i took many breaks
sometimes went to play the guitar, lie on the bed and walk around
i just finished the last question about 15mins ago
and left quite a number blank
cos duno how to do

so wad meant to be a total of 4hrs spent on the 2 papers turned out to be 8hours!! hehe
and actually i was supposed to time myself but i didnt
so i guess i'll have to be more focused next time
hope i'll really be tml

anyway, practising a-maths questions and other subjects is something i GOT to do
cos my mid-year results weren't good
hmm. will spare you the details of the results. heh

i must say that the mid-year exam was a good wakeup call for me
the results have made me more determined to work hard for the Os
so i'm gona go full speed forward from this month onwards
not only mugging but also studying smart
of cos there's God behind me
He said last year in june that He'll help me in mastering maths and science without struggle
so A1s, here i come!

the first 2 weeks of the june holidays have been well spent
went for emerge, then a church camp
so now i've got 12 days of june holiday left
glad i've started planning a schedule
so i wana make full use of it
to practise maths and science questions
to practise guitar for the guitar assessment in 2 weeks' time
and to seek God

ok. i guess i'll stop here
thinking of changing this dull blogskin
will post next time, hopefully soon

yeah!
the chinese Os are half done
still left with LC and oral

although i couldnt really complete the papers
i must say that God has helped me through this whole exam and the weeks leading up to it
some of you may know, chinese isnt my strong subject (erm. language rather)
here's a simile to describe what chinese is like to me,
it's like what russian is to a singaporean

at home i dun read, write, hear and speak chinese
the only time i come into contact with it is in school
and i must say that when i first learnt chinese in kindergarten,
it was really tough

in primary school, i dreaded chinese lessons
i remember how i would purposely ask to go to the toilet to escape from chinese lessons
even those minutes of being away from the classroom brought lots of relief to me
i would stroll to the toilet and then stroll back,
hoping to delay going back to the classroom

at the end of each year,
i would worry about who the chinese teacher would be the following year
and i wondered whether or not he or she would be understanding

then came psle
i was blown away when i saw 'A' for chinese on the report card
it was an absolute miracle

in sec 1, things were not easy
i sat through chinese lessons understanding almost nothing
to make things more difficult, 田老师 was from china and spoke with an accent

sec 2 was neither easy too
then it was sec 3 was when i started to be have a better understanding
but still i copied words was on the board without knowing what they meant
also, chinese was the lowest in priority amongst the other subjects

then this year, things finally became clearer
in the recent months, i've found myself breaking through
my understanding of the words has strengthen greatly
and i have improved leaps and bounds since kindergarten

well, God has seen me through all these years
i must thank Him for giving me the ability to memorise chinese characters easily
and also of cos more recently,
a sustained interest in the language despite some occasions of frustration

hmm. the next few days are going to be exciting
will be serving in chorus board for two emerge events
and i cant wait for emerge to come!
then after emerge will be going to KL with mum and sis

oh well, guess i'll stop here
wonder what to do, now that the exam is over......

oh well
im here to salvage this rotting blog once again

chinese Os are in 2 days' time
and im qionging
jus started reading the notes only now. lol

today there was chinese intensive
but i decided not to go
cos i really needed to catch up on sleep
soon kiang even called me at about 830am
but i put my hp on silent mode last night
so i didnt hear anything

oh ya. fyi, n344 is no more in existence
2 sundays ago, hb announced that we'll be going to diff cgs
all of us didnt know who was going where

but we found out last sun
chenli, chengyu and belinda to vivien's cg
me, my sis, yangxuan and wenjie went bee leng and cindy's cg

on sun, the new cg welcomed us warmly
they went to bedok to eat
but i couldnt join them cos i had to meet daniel and yongwei

we went to peninsular to buy some guitar stuff
dan bought strings and i bought a tuner
finally a tuner after so many weeks
in those weeks without a tuner, i had to tune my guitar using the piano
i found out later when i borrowed a guitar classmate's tuner,
that the piano was 'flatted'. lol

now to talk about today
too bad i couldnt go with my new cg for the sentosa outing
acutally i really wanted to go but decided not to
bcos im not really prepared for chinese Os

oh ya. earlier i was reading some 报章报道 notes
surprisingly, i find myself liking chinese the more i study it
thank God for placing that interest in me
guess i'll continue to learn chinese even after chinese Os

hmm. better go back to studying
i've taken a long enough break already

btw, im at the comp bcos im waiting for zihong on msn
he's gona tell me what i missed earlier in intensive
first he said to meet online at 5pm
then said he changed the meeting time to 540pm
its 541pm now and he's not online yet. heh

think i better stop now

yay!
the mid-years are finally over
can slack big time

after the last paper i went out with danson and andrew
danson's laptop was spoilt after he lent me
dont know wad happened to it actually
the repair centre is at kallang sector
some ulu place in potong pasir

before that we went to eat a very very very old hawker centre
the stores were really wierd
the first one we walked passed sold frog dishes. yuck!
then there was another that sold mutton dishes
and no customers were queuing up
definitely a clear sign of how 'profitable' mutton dishes are. heh
at that point i wondered whether there was a store selling pig organs and stuff
too bad i could not find one looking around

then there was a high ceiling that was really filthy
there were dirt marks and even the hanging lamps were rusting
ever heard of lamps rusting?
think they should have used some other material like stainless steel or something. lol

i went to buy chicken rice for $2
thought at first that $2 was sooo cheap
but good deals are hard to come by
cos it turned out to be a really small portion

then we went to buy dessert
somehow andrew told the auntie, '我要第12号'
and guess wad?
the auntie replied, '第12是什么啊?'
which store owner doesnt know her signboard? lol
so andrew had to read out the whole name. haha

oh well i got to stop now

i'm in the midst of mid year

and haven studied
dun feel like actually

come to think of it
blogging is indeed a passing fad
most people are not updating their blogs

oh ya
got my braces removed last thu. yay!
but got to wear a retainer :(

guitar lessons have been great
with little practice i can play alright
it's cool being able to play all the chords, barre chords, songs and stuff

chinese o-levels on 28 may
really got to do some serious study

two more days of exams
and 4 more papers to go
cant wait for the mid years to be over!

today was great!
went with sis to support mum at standard chartered marathon
it was her maiden marathon
she ran 42km. that's alot!

the race started early at 6am
and the sky was still dark outside the esplanade
yongxiang ran too
things were a little stressful at first
when both mum and yongxiang had gone off, sis and i were left to our own
we had to find the shuttle bus to get to the viewing points
and it took quite a while
but finally we found the pickup point

the bus took us to one part of nicoll highway
there were placards given to us to write encouraging messages
we got down to work immediately
a special message for both of them

before long, the leading pack of kenyan runners zoomed past us
they were so fast that our cameras couldn't capture them
then bit by bit more runners started passing us
together with other people, sis and i cheered the marathoners on
we held up the placard with motivational words
and made some noise with the clappers
the runners were obviously encouraged
some nodded and smiled, others showed thumbs up and a few said 'thank you'
it was great to see our efforts appreciated

there was one moment when one of the supporters in front wrote on her placard 'almost there'
she was shouting 'almost there! almost there!'
some runners responded 'not true! it's only halfway'
i looked at the map and it was so obvious the runners were no where near the finishing line
the woman said 'it's true! it's true!'
so i wrote on a placard 'it's NOT true!' and pointed an arrow at her sign!
people were laughing away at the joke
well, i was glad to have added some humour to the lighten the atmosphere
soon the woman realised what was happening and decided to go somewhere else
i didn't have any regrets really
because i think it isn't good to give the runners false hopes by telling them they're almost there
they might run faster and then be disappointed to know they still have so much to run
but i'm sure the runners knew their route well enough to tell that the woman was wrong

so where was i?
oh ya. soon sis and i got tired cheering the runners on
so we sat down and waited for yongxiang
but we couldn't spot him
then mum passed by
we snapped some pictures of her
and then she was off to east coast park, the longest and most boring stretch along the route

sis and i went back to the padang
and by then it was 5hrs into the marathon
lots of people were passing the finishing line
and we waited for yongxiang with our cameras
but we didn't see him

so we went to mos burger in raffles city
ate for a while
and then went back to wait for mum's arrival
while waiting, i took part in a long long survey
and got a notepad. lol
then sis and i went to cheer the runners on
and you've got to be thick-skinned to do that
clapping and cheering them on

finally mum came into view
she was running steadily and even overtook others
sis and i were carrying lots of things
running alongside her was already not easy
and trying to run ahead of her to take pictures was even harder
in no time, she crossed the finishing line!
she was happy but tired too
and we met yongxiang who was looking around for us
after that we went to have lunch

watching people during the full 42km marathon, i was tempted to join them
but too bad, i'm underaged
and i couldn't have possibly gone for the kids run right?
so i got to wait till 18yrs old. haiz
but that means 3yrs to train up. hah
so in the meanwhile, there's still the saf run which i can join

just through the experience of cheering the runners on, i was more inspired to seriously run
my original interest was peaked
and to confirm that fact, after i got home, i went to run around the hill in front of my house
this time round at a much faster pace
5km in 30mins
so that would mean an average speed of 186m/min!
not bad lah! hah

hmm. tomorrow there's bb camp
i want to get the best out of it!

aarh! my blog is rotting real bad
sam to the rescue!

well, it's the school hols
and i'm quite relaxed
right now waiting for yuzhen's cg and own cg members to come over for pmtg at my house

hmm. what have i been up to lately?
earlier i went for dental appt
got my wires tightened
and now i have to wear rubber bands
you may be wondering 'what? rubber bands in my mouth?'
well, it's mini latex rubber bands that will correct my teeth even further
and i've got to wear it 24hrs
so don't be shocked if you see me with those rubber bands in my mouth yea

yesterday went to the movies
watched casino royale late at night with mum and sis
it was really good
had lots of action and a clever plot
too bad i don't know how to play poker. hah
cos part of the movie focused on the game
was snacking away in the cinema
on ruffles though i didn't feel like eating it
after the whole show, gobbled down a packet of m&ms
my throat ended up a little sore
but managed to clear it up with gallons of mineral water. heh

the hols have been really great
been clearing homework bit by bit
finished the 4 english newspaper reviews
must thank my sis for helping me find the articles
also somewhat done with chem and bio worksheets
and i'm left with lots more. phy, a-maths, book reviews, essays, etc
hope i can get them done by this week
though i don't think it will really happen. heh

next week is gona be real busy
every single day is packed with an event
from mon to wed, there's bb leadership camp
heard from nicholas that it's really easy
the packlist put up on the website was outdated
i think i will go to the campsite myself
oh ya. haven't read the pre-course notes
lol. there's homework to be done before the camp
not looking forward to it though
may be a waste of time
but i shall wait and see

then on thur there's bs with pastor
on fri, the following mon and tue, there's sharity gift box
will be at hougang mall mending the collection booth for 10hrs on those three days
i pray it'll be productive

chorus board ministry has been real fun
i'm so glad with the opportunites given to me
serving last sun was cool
was at the sideboard doing worship songs
and made many many mistakes
i asked josephine 'how many mistakes did i make?'
she said 'nvm, i didn't go and count'. lol
suping told me after service that 'it's ok to make mistakes'
but i dislike mistakes and prefer perfection or something closest to it
hmm. me a perfectionist?

went to east coast park after sun service
rented bikes and cycled with sis
didn't manage to go far though in that 1hr
after that went to the beach to play frisbee
and guess what?
i threw the frisbee too hard and it dropped into the sea
it got washed in and my sis and i waited, hoping it would come back
instead, it moved further out. lol
so we were a little sad
but anyway it's just a frisbee right?
we've got lots at home. hah

alex called me earlier last week to tell me i'm going to serve in the christmas drama
so there'll be practices and i will be at the mainboard
can't wait to go live at the mainboard for the second time!

this sun, my mum would be running the 42km standard chartered marathon
impressive right?
will be missing sun service and pmtg to support her
will go for sat service instead
she's really amazing
this year, she started training, running around the hill in front of our house
first, she went for a 10km marathon, then a 20km and now a 42km
at the same time, she also got me interested in running

hmm. i'm seriously considering working part-time from 12 dec onwards
cos i'm free
and also i can earn some money
so if you're like me, looking for a job, let's go find one together!
or if you got any jobs openings, tell me ya. hehe

well, it's time i do up a new post
guess you guys must have lost interest in my blog already

lots of things have happened recently

friday

had a full-dress rehearsal for the movie pageant the next day
my cell group and N264 acted out 'the tale of two sisters'
and i was chosen to be one of the sisters
the script involved me falling at the last part

before the full-dress rehearsal, we practised at the bomb shelter below esplanade
the floor was very hard and i came home with lots of bruises
i was surprised cos i didn't feel much pain at first
i realised i had been falling down the wrong way

the full-dress rehearsal was quite stressful cos pastor zhuang would be coming to watch us
turned out there was not enough time, so he didn't see it
must say other cell groups did a good job
i liked the waterboys and the x-men groups
they had cool effects and funny storylines

the day ended with me real tired
i knew i had put in my best and had not regretted what i did that day
my sis and i rushed home on the train
and we came home to some piping hot food mum bought
it did not take long before i was fast asleep

saturday

it was our zone's big day
my sis and i reported to ymca at 10.50am
thought that we were the late ones but good thing we weren't
eugene was already there and he was the only early one
the rest were still on the way. heh

when the rest arrived, we practised quite alot
all the cell groups had a dry run at the rooftop
it was not the ideal act though
maybe because we lost the flow
so we practised even more and it became better

then i went to fetch thiva from the mrt
good thing i didn't make him wait for long
put on makeup and had last few rehearsals
i ended up looking awful with the lipstick and hairclips

soon the movie pageant started
the games were quite fun
throwing paper balls around and then sticking them to some people

praise and worship was great
didn't know yu zhen could sing
the songs spoke what i wanted to say

next was hongbin's life testimony
it was really good and it must have touched quite some people
the word by irene also was very powerful

the altar call that was given next was successful
almost everyone went up
des, who was sitting next to me, was one of them
happy for him

then it was the drama segment
i was frantically putting on the hairclips, facial mask and orange blouse
i'm sure i looked awful but i didn't care really
when it our group's turn, i got a little nervous cos there were many people
went up and did all my lines
at the last part, i fell down the wrong way
but there was no time to think about the fall really

i was glad it when it was over
though i ended up with bruises and an open wound, it was worth the experience
saw different personalities revealed in the process
and i was reassured that i could be dramatic. lol

sunday

went to newton to meet sy keath and song keang
i was late though. heh
then we went to church at expo
thank God for their openness

church was great
we had andrew naylor and david holmes back with us
they played very well
the keyboard and the electric guitar
after that there was a performance by the city harvest philharmonic orchestra
a new ministry in our church
the water music was really soothing

the video testimony on a city harvest business was really inspiring
following that was the word by pastor kong
it was amazing
can't find more words to say about it
running out of vocab? hah

didn't go for prayer meeting after church service. hah
went to popeye to eat junk food
then i went back alone to expo
had to meet su ping and kelvyn after the prayer meeting
and guess what? i was 30mins early
so i waited on the stairs on outside 7-eleven
took the opportunity to read 1st corinthians
yay! it was time well-spent

met su ping and kelvyn, my chorus board team leaders
saw kelvyn for the first time
he's okay looking la
not what i expected though
don't wana say much about him in case he stumbles upon this blog. haha
they talked to me about chorus board and what to expect in it

after that, su ping gave me a ride home in her car
thank God for her
cos i was real sleepy
yay! she's going to drive me to church on our duty days
but must not take it for granted. hah

arise and build is coming next week
will be pledging an amount soon
something that will challenge me alot
can't wait to sow the financial seed!

today

oh well, today i haven't done much
have been sleeping
guess i'm really tired from the past few days of rehearsal
no time to play comp. sad
glad i managed to post for once

yay! i'm back!
after a really long break
exams ended a long time ago
decided to type out a short post
cos there's someone pressurising me to do so. heh
last sunday was my first duty in chorus board ministry
it rocks man!

thursday

got back all the results
passed all except physics. bleah
failed by 0.4%. haiz
mr. chan will help me find marks for me to pass on mon

ya. i was
but i got to thank God for helping me improve so many subjects
if you check my post long time ago, you would see lots of D7s
my chinese and a-maths improved alot
and physics extremely close to passing
biology surprised me quite alot
from C6 to A1. wow!

today

a really enjoyable day i must say
cos i went on a geography field trip to pulau semakau
an offshore island used as a landfill
one good thing about it was i didnt need to go for bb. heh
also i got a rare chance to visit an offshore island

we travelled in an air-conditioned ferry
the trip was like 30mins
fell asleep along the way
i think we passed many southern islands
the haze did affect visibility though

when we reached there, i was so amazed by how they made the landfill
they built bunds and cells using sand and rocks
the guided tour was better still
getting up close to the cells in the landfill was cool
we got down to take pictures near a blue lagoon
the wind was blowing so strong
and the waves were so beautiful
too bad didnt bring camera. hah
but took lots of pictures using others' cameras
to cut the long story short,
the whole visit to the island was so dream-like to me

oh ya. went home and took bus 171 the wrong way
ended up having to walk to opposite bus stop
then the journey took 1hr plus. so long!
meanwhile slept. hah
towards the end, was surprised when simon boarded the bus.
he was fatter and wearing specs.
and he looked so old!
like some scholar. hah

oh. 11pm liao
guess i cant go into much detail this time round
tomorrow got cell group
after that a rehearsal for movie pageant play
i'm playing one of the main characters, a 'sister'. eeks!

wah. tired

haiz..
find it's terribly hard to maintain a blog..
the last post was on 12 aug.. lol..
keep on telling myself that i have to update regularly and change the skin..
but i don't actually do it.. heh..

ok.. so now it's saturday morning, 10.10am..
hmm.. it's real early for me to be awake at this time..
normally i would be snoring in bed..
not wanting to get up..

lots of things happened to me this week
wonder where should i start?
yesterday was different.
went for grade 5 piano practical exam.
surprised i play piano right? haha.
i left school early at 10am. cool!
i was so stressed over the arrangement ot leave school early
coz i told mr. rodrigues the wrong time
but thank God. He made everything passed so smoothly
no difficulties whatsoever

then i went all the way down to run down bukit merah central
it was oldest place i had ever seen
the floor was lined with the small square brown tiles and there were slopes up and down
the food courts had a messy layout and the blocks didn't have prominent signs
worse still, the lift was so so old
it looked more like a toilet.. eeks
i felt like i had gone way back into the past. the 1980s?

the piano exam was okay lar
the examiner was british
i found myself not as nervous as before
thank God for that peace
played my best
just hope that i didn't play wrong notes without my knowing

then went back to school for bb
everything went as usual
hmm.. come to think of it
my whole week has been quite uneventful
nothing in particular stood out.
maybe the prayer meeting on tuesday
but other than that, it has been tests almost everyday

next week is the last week before the september hols
but it's gona be one of the most hectic week in the year
there will be 5-6 tests!
because i missed the geography test on fri, i have one more test than the rest! aargh!
looks like we have to work hard to earn the hols

can't wait for the hols though
my sis bdae is coming!
and i haven't bought present lol!
then one week after hers is mine! yay!
but the day after my bdae, i got to attend a bb bible quiz competition. haiz
actually thought that i could enjoy my 15th bdae thoroughly
i like my bdae because it always on a hol
damian wants to track me down and treat me on my bdae
but i will run away! lol
then shashank also want to come to my house on that day
but i won't tell him which bus to take.. hehe

oh ya.. i'm also going to make my NRIC soon. cool
hope the picture on it would look okay
coz i'm going to live with it for the rest of my life. haha
looking forward to the human monopoly next next week
it's the modified version of the monopoly board game
it sure gona be lots of fun..

think i better go
it's 10.30am. still got time to do other things
feel like running around the hill
maybe will go for the sheares bridge run this sunday
not the full run of coz

hey there!
here to rescue my blog from rotting.. haha..
wow.. juz realized that i haven't posted for about a month!
unfaithful me.. lol..

lots of things have happened you know..
so many that i can't seem to remember them..
yesterday, i had a really long day..
came home at 9.30pm..
coz i had a-maths tuition at mxp..
practised functions there..
the whole day was school, then bb then tuition..
during bb, we went to run in hougang stadium to try for atheltics badge..
had to pass at least 2 events.. but i couldn't.. lol..

by the time i settled down at home, it was already 10.30pm..
talked to yangxuan for a while..
she's bored everyday.. haha..
played some chords on the guitar after that..
then fell asleep.. heh..

oh ya.. i juz got a new guitar on tuesday, national day eve..
it was a good offer.. cost $88..
it's a mini guitar.. i like the wood colour.. warm brown i guess..
muz thank kelvin for getting such a good offer..
met him at aljunied at 4.30pm..
but before that i was so bored..
was walking around bugis alone..
then went to check out the new main library branch..
nothing much to do.. hee..

national day on wednesday was quite uneventful though..
spent a lot of time sleeping the whole afternoon..
actually i intended to go to mxp early in the morning..
but i overslept.. worse still, made pj wait for me in his car..
then night time was spent doing the bb project..
it was very irritating.. trying to get the content out..

thursday was quite different..
almost the whole day was spent in pulau ubin..
i woke up extra early in the morning..
my group and i went on a bio trip with mr. rodrigues..
it was really meaningful..
we spotted lots of interesting animals..
mr. rodrigues was very knowledgeable..
he could identify all the plant part and describe their functions..
i also liked his binoculars..
towards the end of the trip, he let me use it to spot ospreys catching fish in the sea..
i got home by 4.30pm and i was very tired..
we weren't under the sun for long but i found i had sunburn.. haha..

hmm.. today i also woke up real early..
went for mr. chan's physics makeup lesson with 305
learnt about lenses..
and as usual, it was fun
after that, mr. chan tried to burn an ant but failed! haha..
he also showed us a can crush under water pressure i think..
then, i went with kenneth to hougang mall to eat..
we ate kfc for a while then we left..

i went for combined cell group after that..
the timing was so good and it was in hougang.. so nearby..
glad i was able to find the house easily..
cell group was very good..
kaixin the cell group leader was very friendly..
too bad i couldn't stay on for long..
cos had to go for english enrichment..
so now i'm blogging.. finished the enrichment a while ago..

quite excited about tomorrow..
it's movie blockbuster weekend at my church..
and i got 2 confirmed scholar friends..
so sad one of them can't come..
but i really want to thank God for his goodness
before this, no one responded to the invitations..
i have been praying to God for a breakthrough in this area and he is answering!
going to meet the friends at newton mrt early in the morning..
hope i can wake up and not oversleep.. haha..

now listening to live webcast of the church service..
it's marriage seminar.. cool!
so young already learning about marriage.. haha..
okie.. better stop here..
haven't been concentrating on typing..
too distracted by the marriage stuff.. hee..

well, today has been a really long day..
i'm glad this morning i could wake up at an okay timing..
have been taking taxi for the whole week again..
that's real bad.. so ex man..
the first lesson of the day was physics! so fun leh..
coz it was mr. chan's lesson..
he's one of the best teachers one can get besides ms. yap bl..
he respects every individual and makes it a point to calls each of us by name.. impressive!
he said he also expected everyone to respect him.. fair exchange lar..
his new year resolution was not to scold a single student the whole of this year..
unfortunately he broke it in our class..
coz he was sick and not in a good mood..
we learnt about the 7 types of tranverse electromagnetic waves..

the rest of the day i can't remember though..
juz that there was a lot of work to be done..
especially a-maths.. haiz..
the homework was super hard..
had to draw graphs, not what i like..

after school i had to stay back for bb..
we went to bishan park to spend time with the tembusu home people..
well, they are the less fortunate..
the original plan was to play captain's ball with them..
but the rain prevented that from happening..
mr. lim assigned us groups and i was leading one of them..
each group had to talk to two men..
it was difficult at first for me..
coz the man next to me was not responding.. wonder why.. hah..
most of the men understood chinese.. and i don't speak chinese well..
but i managed to start up a conversation with about three people..
somehow the chinese words came forth smoothly.. thank God!
then we had some buns and drinks..
before long, everything ended..

mr. lim let kenneth and i go home by ourselves..
it turned out i went to his house..
it was on the highest floor..
so i could see a lot of bishan.. nice..
saw his comp.. he's got some cool websites and games!!

went home and immediately started replying smses..
coz i forgot bring my phone to school..
soon after, i had chinese tuition..
managed to complete some homework under yongxiang's guidance..
he said i had improved in my sentence stucture.. yay!

so now i'm here typing..
trying to recall what happened the whole week..

yesterday after school, went for ndp drill rehearsal..
sounds grand right?
no lar.. it's not what you think..
it's just a practice for a drill on national day eve in school..
at first, when i heard about it, i mistook it for the grand event at the padang.. haha..
was observing people and thinking about lots of things during the practice..

when i reached home, i saw that the sky was clear..
so i decided to go for a run around the hill opposite my house..
my sis also came along..
i was amazed with my performance..
i managed to run non-stop around the hill.. yay!

when i got back home, i took a string and started calculating the distance i ran on a street directory..
hah.. it turned out i ran 2.88km at an average speed of 192m/min!!
that's not bad lar..
especially for someone who doesn't exercise too often.. heh..

well, that's all i recall about the whole week..
nothing else.. just a lot of work..
same as last week.. sobx..
over the weeks, i noticed i have changed my perspective of certain things..
like chinese and a-maths and e-maths and physics..
no more of that 'can't do' attitude..
it's the 'can do!' thank God!

so many things happening this week..
on sunday, there's a dota competition and arcade outing.. COOL!

having difficulty concentrating on the screen..
had a long day yesterday and today..
not been having enough sleep to make up for both days..

lolx.. haven't been updating..
yar yar.. got someone call me a lazy pig in the taggie..
don't know who leh.. i think is start with 'c' de.. heh..
anyway got no time to update ma.. haha..

oh well.. it's finally friday..
i'm on cloud nine i guess..
there's not gona be any school for the next two days..

haiz.. too bad got chinese homework..
have to do it as punishment coz i scored 8/20 for fill-in-the-blank exercise..
i didn't have time to memorise the words..
coz i was busy finding the meaning of some other chinese words..
my chinese teacher make us watch 'you hua jiu shuo'.. then ask us to do a write-up..
he also asked us to create 'zong he tian gong'..

anyways i had a physics test today..
it was on pressure..
good thing it wasn't that pressurising on me..
i could answer all questions..
and i think i have lost at least 5 marks..
a vast improvement from last time! XD!

yesterday i watched the 'you hua jiu shuo'
it was a very meaningful discussion on bullying..
after that i fell asleep while studying..
good thing i had already finished revising for the test..
earlier in the day, i tried on my new uniform also..
many people said it was too big and it made me look small..
i guess size 20 isn't right for me.. heh..
never mind.. it's definitely better than the previous one..

so far for the whole week, my sis and i haven't been able to wake up early enough to take bus..
ended up taking taxi everyday..
wah.. cost a lot of money..
i also haven't been eating much every recess..
dieting? no lar..
i have been rushing homework for the following lessons..
somehow i didn't have time to do them the night before..
every recess has been spent doing that.. not a good thing though..

most of the days went past in a blur..
all i think of to summarise them is work and work..
nothing more..
well, shashank, the boy who sits next to me in class, is getting cheekier though..
he's not the innocent boy he used to be.. haha..
btw, he's a maths genius..

hmm.. next saturday there's a dota lan gaming competition at my church..
if you are a game addict, you should come join us..
then the week after, we're gona have a movie extravaganza..
there's gona be free 'pirates of the carribean' tickets given out to new friends..
so if you're interested to come do tell me yea..
it's sure gona be lots of fun..

tomorrow there's no cell group..
coz hongbin went to taiwan..
heard there's a typhoon there..
pray everything is alright..
instead of going for cell group, i'll be going out to fellowship with the cell group members and new friends..
we're meeting at ps at 11am..
wonder what we're gona do.. hah..
maybe juz walk around aimlessly..

phew! friday's finally here..
have been waiting for this day to come..

so sad.. brazil and germany lost..
now only left with france and italy..
but have to admit they played much better..
well, what a pity my favourite teams lost..
next monday 2am is the finals..
don't know who to support leh.. hah..

today was almost late..
i overslept.. aargh!
didn't set the alarm yesterday night..
coz i was so tired..
doing a chinese worksheet that must handed up on monday.. hah..
oh.. so does diligence pays off?
maybe not in this case lar.. haiz..
good thing my sis and i reached school two minutes before the bell rang..
what a close shave!
coz if one of the traffic light had turned red, we would have been late..
thank God for his favour and goodness!

after school, i went with thiva to macdonald's..
we had a good time talking..
he's a scholar from laos..
so it was interesting hearing his views on certain topics..

don't know why but the whole week i have been yearning for lessons to end quickly..
i haven't been having this sort of feeling for quite a while..
maybe because the lessons are boring..
everytime i'm looking at my timetable, waiting for school to end..
when school finshes, i'm so relieved..

recently, we got this trainee teacher to teach us a-maths and chemistry..
actually he wasn't supposed to..
but his timetable had a clash so he had to teach us both subjects.. lol..

i can't really remember what happened the whole week..
but i know i have been waking up early everyday..
my sis and i tried taking the 854 some days..
we were very tired at the end of the day..
but i must thank God for giving us the strength to go through everyday..

oh ya.. yesterday and today i had chinese tuition..
it's has been quite a long time since i last had it..
my chinese was somewhat rusty.. haha..
we did a chinese worksheet..
the passage at the back was illogical lor..
coz i didn't understand why a mother and a father who love their son would leave taiwan for north africa so that he can be left to grieve over the death of his wife and that they will not be a burden to him..
hah.. they should maybe move to somewhere nearer you noe..
like china.. it's nearer and they would be able to understand the language there..

i think better stop liao..
coz itz already 11pm.. hah..
have been posting from 8pm till now..
coz haven't been concentrating..
playing lots of cool music.. hah..

tomorrow having bs with kelvin.. yay!
after that got cell group..

sorry guyz
haven't been posting
phew.. i finally have some time now to type something

i've been real busy lately..
the first week of school has been quite hectic
piles of homework and lotz of other things
i also had to catch up on my sleep
even now i'm sleepy
but i need to stay awake to watch argentina vs. germany later
haha!

today has been a very long day
aargh! woke up with a bad runny nose
it was flowing non-stop
i was sneezing continuosly
hate such a thing!
so sleepy the whole day eh
my eyelids were drooping
and i fought to stay awake for hours
when school ended, i was so relieved

but there was bb later.. haiz
wasn't looking forward to it actually
but had to go anyway
good thing had damian and kenneth to talk to
they really helped make the whole day more endurable

after bb, went back home on 854..
ended up playing bounce on my handphone.. lame right?
and guess what?
i couldn't get past level 9!
because the ball kept dropping down..
it was so frustrating!!
i spent hourz trying to clear the level but couldn't..
so in the end gave up lor..
someone help me please!

monday was the first day of school
and it was somewhat hard to adjust to the earlier time i had to wake
coz i was so used to waking up at noon time in the hols
i was quite reluctant to go back to school
i didn't feel that i had enough rest though
the 4-week june hol was actually a 2-week one
because of the campz i had..

hmph.. was late for school on the tuesday
definitely a shaky start to the school term
the bus came late by 10minz
so my sis and i had to stand in front of the school
very humiliating
it was our third time
sounds bad right?
but this time round we had a good reason
there were four other people who were on the late bus too
good thing the oms were handling the matter
last time it was worse
it was handled by the discipline teachers
the oms were more lenient
they let us off surprisingly
even though they said our reason was not a good one
i was so thankful to God
coz he worked a way out for us in the end
before that, on the bus, i was praying non-stop
our being late was due to the bus and not our waking up late hor :))

after school that day, i actually planned to go simon's house to learn guitar
but he was sick
hmm. pray that he will not easily fall sick
so in the end i went home
unexpectedly, chenli and yangxuan came to our house
we did hongbin's bdae card
didn't complete it though
but itz very nice..
hah. tomorrow is his bdae!
happy birthday hongbin!

wednesday, thursday went past in a flash
so many lessonz packed together
bio and physics are getting more enjoyable
mr. rodrigues is so clear and engaging
and we got mr. chan as our permanent physics teacher for the year! yay!
he's the best physics teacher one can get!
he teaches very well and cracks funny jokes.

oh ya. i got my the wires of my braces changed on wednesday too
went all the way to town. cool!
saw lotz of nice stuff but couldn't buy. boohoo! haha
the dentist said my cleaning was not good. hah.
i came home with sore gums..
imagine what it's like to have metal wires pushing against your teeth..
there's lotz of pain and you practically become toothless XD!
coz everytime you try to chew your food, there's pain..
so i was left with porridge as the only food source..
during recess and lunch yesterday, i ate nothing. juz drank green tea.
i very poor thing hor.
even two days after changing the wire, my teeth still hurt.
cannot eat my favourite food! sobx sobx.
at least i can empathise with old toothless people who have to wear dentures. haha.
didn't know i so lame. :)

yay! tomorrow got cell group! cool
having bs with kelvin earlier at 10am
after bs he may teach me guitar yeah!
hope can wake up early though
coz tonight will be staying up to watch world cup!
match starting soon
better go watch liao
hope germany wins the match!

haven't been regular in my posting..
will try to be more consistent..
i got a good reason this time round..
i have been busy qionging homework..
so didn't have the time..
right now, i'm left with 5 maths questions! yay!

quite bored tho..
the comp was sot sot for quite a number of dayz..
so couldn't do much..
plus sis was hogging the comp all day.. hah..

haiz.. the june holidays are ending in 3 dayz' time
well, it has been quite a different one..
unlike the previous holidays, where i was so bored..
sitting around, not knowing what to do..
playing comp but not getting satisfied..

this hol has been more productive..
the first two weeks were spent at camps..
bb and church camp..
they were good campz..
more so for the church camp.. hee..
finally able to leave singapore for a while..
i have come to realize that i am more aware of my surroundings now..

then the last two weeks of the hol..
most of the dayz were spent at prayer meetings and church services..
indulging in the things of God..
such things i'm not able to do during school days..
and not to forget the emerge conference..
what a fantastic event! so cool..
there were also a few hours spent at the aloha chalet too..
hahax.. made a big blunder during the games..
i went to say that i was 15 when actually i am 14..
that caused my team a lot..
we had to do a forfeit dance..
sorry team.. hah..

on days that i had to my own, i would be juz lazing around at home..
most of the time sleeping at about 2am or 3am..
and then waking up at 1am the next day..
bad habit i hope to break before school reopens.. heh..
every morning would be spent blogging, surfing the net, etc..
then from afternoon till night, i would do as much homework as possible..
glad i have been very focused this time round..
not a frantic rush to complete homework like previous holz..

on one rare occasion, i went out with damian..
well, had some time out..
coz i had completed much of my homework..
thinking of going out again..
maybe this time round with someone else..
too bad i didn't have time to review the topics previously learnt..
hope i can do so in the last few days of the holz..

so now here i am, typing a very long post..
don't feel like completing the last 5 a-maths questions..
so few questions right?
but i can't bring myself to do them.. haiz..

anywayz, this friday there will be an event at my church..
there's going to be drama, dance and gamez!
and 40 superman tickets to be won!
so i'm definitely going..

after this, i think i will play a bit of maple..
then itz off to struggle with my homework..

hee.. haven't been blogging for 3 dayz..
coz i've decided to start prioritizing..
there's 8 dayz left to school..
so i'm going to concentrate on homework for now..
play can wait..

juz finished doing almost all my english homework..
wow! itz amazing that i was able to complete 4 setz of homework today..
muz give myself pat on the back..
so now i''m blogging..
itz important to de-stress after a long day's work you know..

yesterday went out with damian to ps..
ken didn't come along..
coz he had church outing..
damian kept on reminding me to be early..
but guess wad?
turned out i was the early one.. heh..
waited for him for quite a while..
when he turned up, i wanted laugh out loud..
coz he was wearing this black ah pek shirt.. haha..
he said he bought it from malaysia for 20 ringgit!
pasar malam shirt lar..

then we went to buy tickets to rv..
actually wanted to watch cars..
but deb said itz not worth watching..
after buying tickets, we realized we didn't buy coke from downstairz..
so we went yoshinoya buy lor..
cheap cheap mah..
better than buying from counter..
we hid in our bagz, then brought in.. hah..
smart hor..

rv not bad lar..
coz the storyline was good..
i like the girl, cassie..
shez 15 and shez cute.. yeah..

after movie, we went to yoshinoya again..
this time to eat lunch..
good thing the cashier yvonne not there arh..
coz last time damian offended her.. hah..
bought the usual beef bowl..
somehow it tasted awful.. yuck..
then we walked around..
went to carrefour..
did nothing much..

soon we got bored..
so we went to see the new cathay cinema..
the whole place still under renovation..
nothing much to see..
saw two girls from my previous youth group..
after that walked from ps to wisma..
saw the two girls again along the way..
maybe itz destiny hor.. hah..

damian kept on buying food from 7-eleven to eat..
i was still full..
wonder why he so hungry.. heh..
then we took bus back to ps..
met up with sis and sinli..
we were going for a chalet at aloha changi..
took train up to tampines..
i listened to some music on damian's mp3 along the way..

then we took 29 from bus interchange..
we were supposed to alight at cranwell road..
but we ended up in changi ferry point terminal!
so we walked back..
wah! the place not easy to find lor..
walk here walk there.. sianx..

finally, after so long, we arrived..
there were so many church members from different cells..
i ate chicken nuggets non-stop and nothing else..
went to check out the rooms in the chalet..
some people stayed overnight..
but i didn't..
we had gamez first..
i made a mistake and that cost my group a lot..
sorry arh.. heh..
then we had worship.. cool songz..
then there was drama by the different groups..
not bad one..
in less than a day, they came up with something..
i like the visa ad.. so funny leh..
'you have only enough for one stone..'
then wendy shared about the different soils..
soils as in people's heart..

soon everything ended..
sis and sinli went to the bus-stop first..
damian and i followed..
sinli and damian went off first..
my sis and i walked back to the chalet coz yangxuan and chengyu were waiting..
suddenly, a big bug came out of nowhere and bit on her toe real hard..
she had to pull it out.. yuck..
of coz it was painful..
but she didn't show it..
called hongbin to come with first-aid..
turned out they didn't have..
joanna drove over with hongbin inside..
she drove us to tampines interchange..
along the way very scary..
coz i sat in the front
and she kept on braking suddenly..
anywayz it was very kind of her to drive us..

then we went to mac.. hah..
i bought big mac..
sis bought ice-cream..
then we went home..

that's what happened yesterday..
oh no.. i think this is one of my longest post..

oh.. juz woke up at 1pm..
haiz.. so tired..
don't know why leh..
yesterday slept at about 1am..
even 12hrz is not enough for me..

i have to start getting ready at 3pm for my maths tuition..
coz it takez 1hr of travelling time..
so i only got 40minz left.. heh..

yesterday night i went with my sis and yangxuan for a zonal prayer meeting..
i was so glad to see the jurong west street 91 church building..

there was this sense of nostalgia as i entered the side gate..
the familiar smell of carpets permeated my nostrils..
disgusting it may sound but it brought fond memories of the past..
although i've gone to the church building for juz 2mthz, i could feel some sort of attachment to it.. the titanium walls, the fountains, the coloured carpark, the lifts, the classy lobby......
as we took the lift down to basement 4, the sound of music grew louder and louder..
that crescendo created an air of anticipation and excitement amongst us..
then finally, when the lift doors opened, we made a beeline for the auditorium entrances..
stepping into the auditorium, i felt the weight of God's glory..
one that i have not felt since we last moved to expo..
God was truly showing himself strong..

we made our way to a row of empty seats and joined in the praise and worship..
just then, yangxuan spotted hongbin, our cell group leader, standing at the side seats..
she pointed it out to my sis and me..
and i knew what she meant..
hongbin was standing below the word 'disciples' that was embossed on the side wall..
we headed to where he was standing but found no seats..
so we settled for three seats behind him..

the songz sung during worship were so wonderful..
some of the songz had not been sung for quite a while..
and it felt great to be able to soak in the presence of God..

soon after, pastor zhuang went up to the stage and got us to speak in tongues for 5minz..
i spoke in tongues for a while but felt more the need to speak in english..
so we prayed continuosly for the outreaches, church growth, the leadership, the church building..
sometimes we were to pray in groups..
at other times, we were to pray as a church..

time flew past so quickly as we prayed..
before long, we found that 2hrz had passed..
but it felt like only 30minz..
the prayer meeting ended with a cool song..
and all of us left the auditorium feeling pumped up..

then it was time for the exhausting climb up the many flights of stepz to level 1..
we stopped halfway at one of the floors to go to the carpark toilet..
it had been a long time since i last went to the carpark..
it wasn't any ordinary carpark..
it was painted green and everything about it made it look 'uncarpark'..
instead of taking the stairs, we walked up the carpark slopes..
i had never done that before..
so i was somewhat amazed..

as my sis and i stood near the traffic junction, in front of the sign 'city harvest church',
i thought 'wow! i'm going to miss this church building a lot!'..

so that was how i spent my night yesterday..
it may sound weird to love a building..

but itz actually the warm memories, which come along with the building, that i treasure deep in my heart..

heh.. tuesday liao..
only 12 dayz left before school startz.. haiz..
2 weekz gone juz like that!
and i haven't really done much homework.. help!

life has been good..
sunday went for church..
i really like the presence of God..
we learnt about daniel and the soul..
the part on the 7 needz of the soul was indeed an eye-opener..

after service went with cell group to changi airport for lunch..
we were walking around non-stop..
coz hongbin couldn't find the staff canteen!
we went up and down and ended up in the carpark.. haha..
after ages, we finally found the canteen..
while having lunch, we started talking nonsense..
we were spotting the differences.. funny lar..

after that went to kovan..
got a haircut and bought a pair of sneakerz..

and the sneakerz were quite ugly!

so i started plucking out whatever ugly stuff i saw on it.. hah..
good thing never break arh..
i was quite violent with it you know.. heh..

yesterday went for a-mathz tuition..
learnt about circlez and other stuff..
there's was that radian, arc, segment, blah blah blah thingie..
should be able to manage this topic lar..

oh ya.. finished reading 'tuesdays with morrie'..

so boring loh..
all that aphorisms.. lame stuff..
can't believe itz a no.1 u.s bestseller..
but i had no choice..
why? coz i had to read it for a book review..
aargh! hate book reviewz!
what use are they of?
they only force people to read bookz they don't like.. grrr..

at night went to shenton way to work nightshift..
no lar.. i went to dbs auditorium for church service..
the topic was 'from financial famine to financial abundance'..
and of coz it was very good..
amazing hor? i so young hear all these sermonz.. heh..

i better go hang up wet clothes from the washing machine now..

wah! haven't updated for about four dayz!
juz got back from malacca at about 6pm..
tired sia..
but i enjoyed the church camp lar..
coz can relax a lot.. hahz..

the sermonz were very good..
pastor john spoke on fear, meekness, etc..
i even received a Word from God through pastor!
He said i will no longer struggle in mathz and science!
instead i will excel in them! wow!

i was watching video earlier.. hah..
oh ya.. i took a lot of photoz too..
some are quite cute..

woah! the hotel 5-star leh!
damn posh hor.. some more got chandelier leh!
didn't know i so suagu.. hee..

ooh.. past midnight liaoz..
itz 1.55am in the morning! hah..

later at 11am, im going off to malacca! yay!

oh yar.. EMERGE ended yesterday night with a grand finale!
and it was really a grand one!
everything went up in smoke..
hah.. soundz like everything was destroyed right?
no lar.. the smoke came from the mini fireworkz came from the stage..

so many thingz happened..
the finalz of the spelling bee held and it was fun to watch people spell chim wordz..
prizes were also given out to the winnerz of the various competition..
and Sun Ho came to perform for us!
she sang a few Chinese songz that haven't been released yet..
she is also truly a bilingual person..
coz she spoke in very fluent and impressive English and Mandarin..

all in all, i think that this EMERGE conference has definitely spurred me on to be a witness for Christ!
i was so inspired by Pastor Kong's sermonz to hunger and thirst for God's presence..
and after lotz of worship, i found it so easy to go straight into praise without having to warm up..
i can really feel that there's a sort of spiritual growth and awakening..
i can't wait for EMERGE 2007! hah..

wow!
itz saturday already..
yay! at last i'm able to wake up at 10am.. hah..

last night was totally amazing!
coz the EMERGE conference was sooo cool!
the worship was heavenly!
and the Word was impactful!
through the songz and the sermon that God spoke to me..
oh.. itz so nice to experience the presence of God..

and guess wad..
something elze suprising happened..
three superstarz came to perform for us..
kelly poon, jun yang and taufik batisah!
can u imagine it?
they came to my church to sing!
they were standing not that far away from me..
everyone was screaming their headz off..
and snapping picturez of them with their handphone cameraz..
that's way cool!
church is definitely not boring!
in fact, itz fun coz u never know when you will get to see superstarz! hah..

when the conference was over, it was about 10.30pm..
good thing there were buses to take us back..
coz by the time i reached home, it was 12am.. heh..

later i will be going with my sis for session 4 at 5pm..
who knowz which superstar would come later?

good morning..
eh.. sorry.. itz good afternoon.. heh..
juz woke up mah.. datz why blur blur de..

hmm.. have been sleeping a lot..
had to catch up on lost sleep u know..
coz everyday sleep late for very very good reasonz.. hah..

yesterday my sis and i went to a youth conference at expo!
itz called 'EMERGE!'.. real cool de..
they had this parade of schoolz..
lotz of cheering and stuff..
it was really energetic!
every cluster and institute was represented..
and north was leading in the scoreboard! yay!

later pastor kong preached a very very powerful message..
it really went deep in.. like a bullet.. hah..
it was about the 13/30 window..
and ozo about having to be a sharp axe with a long handle.. chim hor..
no lar.. itz understandable..
fortunately or unfortunately, i didn't bring paper to copy down all the pointz..
but i think that allowed me to easily 'digest' whatever was said..
if not i will be furiously jolting down all the pointz..
oh ya.. i can look at my sis' notez hor.. hee..

we missed session 2 of the conference this morning..
so later, we are going for session 3..
can't wait to have more revelationz and more encounterz with God!

in the meantime, i will play comp!
yesterday i lvled up to lvl 45! yay!
should i called myself a game addict?

hi all..
u all muz be wondering why i haven't been updating my blog..
well, i've been real busy u know..
playing maple? no lar..
i was working..
shocking right?
no lar.. itz something like work..

the last two dayz have been spent helping out in the church office..
my parent's church iz having a church camp next tuesday..
so my sis and i decided to help out lor..
we helped do some name tagz and bookletz..

we're also going for the church camp..
leaving for malacca on monday..
and guess what..
we are part of the advanced party! cool..
will be back on friday..
i won't be able to update the blog for almost the whole of next week..
sad lor..

oh ya.. yesterday i went back to school for a-mathz remedial..
coz my a-mathz failed mah..
wah.. it was 3 really long hourz..

i ozo went to check on the crystal..
sadly, it had grown too big and out of shape.. haiz..
other groupz had really good onez..
lookz like got to grow another one..

hmm.. nothing much has happened these past few dayz..
so can't think of anything to write..

hi.. juz woke up..
yesterday finished bb camp.. very tired..
the whole camp was okay lar..
it was more relaxing than previous onez..

we started with rock-climbing..
i manage to reach the top of the wall in rock-climbing..
nothing special..
coz almost everyone did and last year do already..

lunchtime ate maggi..
muz do area-cleaning.. sianx..
i was promoted to acsm temporarily..
quite happy lar..

then it was inline skating..
learnt how to stand up and fall down.. hahz..
my first time so it was a new experience..
too bad it was a short lesson..

later had catered dinner..
food so-so lar..

then we built basha..
stressful sia..
coz my partner never help..
the roof was drooping down..
if it rained will get wet..

after that couldn't sleep..
coz the bb instructorz were talking away..
bcoz of the buzzing mosquitoes..
and bcoz my partner snored like pig.. heh..

in the morning, we walked from pasir ris park to changi point ferry terminal..
had to walk non-stop for 8km.. lol..
i kept hearing the irritating phrase 'close up the gap'..
instructor said 'don't run when closing up the gap, juz walk faster'..
i was wondering 'you ask me don't run, so i walk faster.. but then when i walk faster, you tell me to close up the gap'.. funny sia..

then, we took boat to pulau ubin..
walked all the way to the highest point..
the view of the quarry was 'so impressive'!
had expedition..
damian and i did quite well lar..
even though our map-reading skillz weren't that good..

after expedition, had nasi lemak for lunch..
then was supposed to go cycling..
but it rained!
so we sat in the hut and did nothing..

after hourz, it stopped raining..
coz the ground was wet, the instructorz said we couldn't cycle..
so we had no choice but to go for second expedition..
i was the navigator for my group..
and we got lost!
luckily, we reached the checkpoint although i anyhow navigated.. hee..

the expedition ended at the jetty..
it was evening by then..
cooked maggi for dinner again.. sianx..

then we took the boat back to mainland..
boarded a bus for school..
and we reached school at 8pm..
damian, kenneth and i went to 7-eleven to celebrate the end of the camp..
damian ate spagetthi..
and i ate chicken burger..
ken nerh? can't remember.. hee..

soon, ken's mother car arrived..
ken offered a lift and i accepted paisehly..
coz all the time have to trouble them mah..

anywayz, i reached home by 9pm..
surprisingly, i wasn't that tired..
even had the energy to watch video.. hah..

so that was a long summary of the bb camp.. heh..
hope you all didn't find it too lengthy and boring leh..

hi all!
it has been a very long day for me..
shashank and i put the crystal in a new solution..
and in juz 1hr, the crystal grew almost too big for the beaker!
however, it had become lumpy.. sobx..

my result slip! look at the number of underlined scorez! i failed so many subjectz!

aargh! my class position so high! my L1R4 iz 12! and L1R5 iz 18!

got back our finalized result slipz today..
i failed three subjectz.. physicz, a-mathz and chinese..
sadly, there were no changez to my ranking..
my class position was 28/35 and my level position was 80/216!
real sad lor..
my form teacher, mr. rodrigues, azked me what happened..
he said 'it seemz like mathz iz the problem here.'
i was like 'yar'..
then he said he will be calling my parentz up to inform them about my poor performance..
this sort of thing has never happened to me in my entire school life! aargh!

after school, there was bb..
we learnt archery.. boring sia..
coz we only shoot and shoot arrowz..
nothing new except for a few balloonz added..
i was real sleepy lor..
coz last nite sleep very late.. heh..

haiz.. tomorrow muz wake up at 6am..
coz bb camp startz at 7.30am..
hmph.. it endz on sunday at 8pm..
heard it will be more fun this year..
got rock-climbing, roller blading, expedition, cycling, etc..
and no kayaking! yay!

woah.. itz thur liao..
didn't realised that until juz now..
time passes so quickly when one's busy..
well, i heard from lotz of ppl that my postz are real long..
so today, im juz gona be brief..

it was a little of a rocky start this morning..
coz i had an irritating cold.. aarrhchoo!
itz the sort i get on some morningz..
either bcoz i drank too much milk the night before..
or bcoz the air iz hazy..
my nose's somewhat sensitive..
i can sneeze for like 5 timez at one go.. heh..

so all the way from home to school, i kept on sniffing and sniffing..
good thing not that many teacherz came in..
coz my nose was dripping non-stop..
worse than than the niagra fallz! hah..

shashank and i went to check out crystalz..
they had grown so much bigger and were well-defined..
even the beaker that held it was becoming too small!
so we prepared another solution in a very large beaker for the crystal..
i think ourz had become the largest one..

the rest of the day dragged on..
teacherz were not coming in.. so boring..
to make matterz worse, i was having a cold!
luckily, by about noon, i had recovered..

a humorous incident happened after english lesson..
it was the other side of ms quek, my english teacher..
normally, she's real fierce and feared by moz studentz..
but after lesson, she was panicking away..
she had lost an important name list! hehe..
desperation was written all over her face!
nobody could help her..
so she left in a hurry..

during cme lesson, mr rodrigues gave out our result slipz..
i was like 'hey, juz gime a break from those markz!'
the resultz shown on the slip weren't that surprising..
but below the resultz were my class position and level position!
i was utterly disappointed!
shashank was 3rd in class and 3rd in level!
and i was like so far back..
well, the resultz are not totally confirmed..
so tomorrow will see the finalised one..
haiz.. hope can move up in position leh..

oh ya.. tomorrow we gona learn archery during bb..
hope it will be fun..
the camp iz also gona start on saturday.. aargh!
cun wait for these thingz to be over..

hey there!
itz yet another day..
one that's been eventful..

school was quite different..
coz itz the post-exam period, the teacherz were busy keying in our mid-year exam resultz..
they were also printing out our result slipz i guess..

well, the day in school started off with a green talk by mr. lim, my cca teacher..
it was a talk on saving the environment..
somehow, he had difficulty getting the attention of everyone in the hall..
there were no discipline teacherz present..
at one point he threatened to switch off the air-con and the lightz.. heh..
that tactic worked for just a while..
then, everyone in the hall went back to being noisy..
the contentz of the talk i cun remember..
coz i wasn't paying attention.. hee..
then my principal came in the give away prizes and launch a link..
she then offered to buy an ice cream or a pen.. haha..
the person had to share about his recycling practicez at home..
jian yong, my ex-clazmate, or blackboy, as he is known by many, went up to stage..
he came up with some silly practicez which i knew weren't true and he was rewarded.. hah..
when i talked to him later, he said 'aiyah, free prize mah.. why not take?'
aiyoh.. he so kiasu.. heh..

the next thing that followed was much more interesting..
we were taught how to make rocketz from plastic bottlez and other materialz provided..
since it was to be done in pairz, i constructed the rocket with yiyong..
when it was finished, we launched the rocketz into the sky at the field with water.. cool..
the weather was very hot and humid..
but that didn't dampen our spiritz..
at first, our rocket didn't fly far..
i was disappointed coz other peoples' rocketz flew so far and high..
however, after repairing a crack, we launched our rocket for the second time..
it flew real far and high!
yiyong said it was one of the ten that flew the furthest.. yeah!
it was really cool watching rocketz fly!

we went back at the hall after the launch..
there, the instructorz explained the newton's three lawz..
what was taught was different from what we learnt in physicz lessonz..
but anyway, i wasn't listening and i didn't really bother lar.. hah..

when the talk ended in the hall, we still had an hour of lessonz left..
not a single teacher turned up..
and it was really a waste of time..
so i went to the chem lab..

to my horror, i discovered that the crystalz we had grown had been destroyed by someone!
all the crystalz were smashed to pieces!
and all the threadz were cut!
i remembered checking on the crystalz during recess..
they were perfectly fine and nicely shaped!
so there i was, staring into a murky solution that contained all our hard work from yesterday..
well, there was nothing shashank or i could do..
we juz had to start again.. haiz..
so we boiled solution..
but this time, we used another method..
we spotted some mistakez in our previous try and decided to use another way..
maybe it was a blessing in disguise after all.. heh..
we left the solution to stand and hoped for the best..

at 3pm, it was time to report for bb..
damian, ken and i had juz finished telting mapz for a camp expedition..
we fell in and then had to do 'pasar malam'..
im sure you are wondering what in the world iz that..
itz not a night market.. hah..
instead, itz an invented name for 'laying out camp equipment on the ground'..
we had to unpack our thingz from our haversack for the ics to check for mistakez..
and then pack them back..
packing and unpacking had to be done in juz 1min or less each.. so short a time!
onlookerz were watching us and laughing away.. aargh!

anywayz, bb ended at about 4pm..
dam, ken and i went up to the chem lab to check on the growth of the crystalz..
i found out that my crystal had grown very large in such a short time!
after that bad incident i was of coz elated lor.. heh..

after checking on the crystalz, we went to 7-eleven to buy some drinkz..
dam and ken bought shandy while i got gulp..
we chatted for some time over lotz of thingz..
then we parted wayz and headed home..

well, that has been my day in detailz..
hope you all dun mind the boring info.. hah..
ah! the american idol finalz are showing now on channel 5!
i muz watch one! cun miss de!

din update yesterday.. haha..
coz i slept from 5pm till 6.30am the next day..
was too tired lar..

yesterday, 987fm came to our school..
vernon a and justin a were there..
even mark richmond..
they held a competition to select someone to be a dj for control in july..
damian, my bro, took part and he was great..
however, this boy dom decided to play cheat..
he did a phone conversation by pretending to be two personz..
the sec onez found it funny and clapped loudly for him..
and my goodness! he won!
i was real sad for damian..
he deserved the chance more than dom.. haiz..

now on to today..
well, itz been quite a long day..
school ended at 3.30pm..
nothing much happened in school..
quite boring..
spent moz of the time reading 'the prophet' by frank perreti..
he writez real well..
i juz cun stop reading lor..
oh ya.. hiz other book, 'nightmare academy' ozo very good..
itz easy to read and thrilling..
therez nothing nightmarish about it though.. heh..

the only other thing i remember about school today iz crystal growing..
we decided to join a crystal growing competition conducted by nus..
mr. lim brought the whole class to the chem lab..
it was sooo fun..
shashank, my partner, and i made a solution and left it to cool..
we placed a thread in the solution and left it to stand..
after school, we went to take a look..
huge white crystalz had started to form!
from what i saw, ourz was the second largest one! yay..
our secret formula worked!
wana know whatz the formula?
no lar.. wun tell u.. itz secret mah..

hmm.. that's all i can remember about today and yesterday..
everything else iz in a blur.. heh..
hope our crystal will win the competition!

hmm.. itz been an okay day lar..
in the morning i couldn't wake up early enough..
woke up at 8.15am..
juz 45minz left to church service at expo..
i was freaking out when i realized how little time i had..
coz i needed 1hr 15min to get to church by mrt..
immediately i went to search for money to take a taxi..
sis was still snoring away.. heh..
in the end, i thought it would be better we go for the 11.30am service..
i went back to bed to sleep..

when i woke up again, it was just a few minz to 10am..
we were going to be late for church!
it was a frantic rush to the bathroom and then out of the house..
however, we made it in time for service..

worship was great as always!
all the songz sung were cool!
the sermon was very powerful too!
it was about not being of the world although we are in it..
service ended at 1.30pm..

30minz later, i went with my cell grp memberz to a church prayer meeting ..
it was amazing!
the 2hrz of praying and praising God were so short..
the time was spent to pray for the church and other thingz..
it was definitely an enjoyable time..

when everything was over, it was about 5pm..
yangxuan, my sis and i went to burger king for dinner..
since we didn't have much money, we had to share a meal..
but we ended up playing with the food and making a fool of ourselves.. heh..
we took a bus home and i fell asleep..
it was very embarrassing coz i kept nodding away.. haha..
after lotz and lotz of nodding, we finally reached khatib..

hmm.. thinking of watching some video now.. heh..

in the end, my group won!

hi all! itz real late.
one min to midnight. haha.
today has been a real long day man.
it was a rough start this morning. woke up at 7am, juz 15 mins before school starts.
the moment i saw the time, i jumped out of bed.
i was freaking out, scampering around like a lunatic.
my sis and i finally got into a cab at 7.06am, juz 14 mins left to beat the bell!
thank God we made it through the gate juz as the national anthemn started playing.
what a close shave it was!
i was real glad to have survived the terrifying ordeal.
then it was off to the classroom.
i received a whole load of exam resultz. about 5 paperz.
i was dismayed by some of them.
but on the other hand relieved to finally know how i faired.
i got 1 A1, 2 A2s, 1 B3 and 1 E8!
juz left with two papers that will be returned tmrw.
it will definitely be interesting to calculate my L1R5.
itz sure to be very low. hee.
okiez. i sleepy liao. sis waiting for me to get off comp.

diz my second post..

ya, i know it's late.. but cun help it..
coz i juz came back from my a-mathz tuition..

we learnt matrices today.. heh..

bracketz and bracketz with more and more numberz.. can be real dizzy de..

but it is be fun coz itz is easier than other topicz..

oh ya.. today i received physics and chemistry results..

i did better than expected..

but i was somewhat sad when i saw that i failed my physics.. haiz..

40% leh.. the top boy scored 54/60! that's pure insanity on his part!

however my chemistry resultz were better..

i managed an A2 which is not too bad for last minute work.. hehe..

luckily the other teachers didn't return other papers..

or else it would have been too much to handle..
most of the lessons today were relaxing..

nothing much happened..

during bio today, we formed groups to go on field trips to various places..

mr rodrigues, our bio teacher, tried to arrange a suitable date for my group but we juz couldn't find one..

in the end we settled for 10 aug, one day after national day!

we ozo decided to go to pulau ubin for our field trip..

i was actually reluctant to go there..

coz the word 'pulau ubin' bringz along with it bitter sweet memories of past yearz bb campz..

after school, i rushed home. what a pity!

i could have stayed in school and waited for tuition to start but i didn't bring along my a-mathz bookletz!

i was like 'aiyah! why so forgetful!?!'

so i went home, grabbed the booklets and left..

all in all, i spent 2hrz travelling to and fro.. lol..

so much for 3 booklets that were not entirely used for the tuition..

hmm. maybe i should stop here for now..

coz i realize that im writing too much already.. haha..

hope u all dun mind my long-windedness ya..
i got to help mi sis now with her english e-learning stuff..

so i got to go..

will publish a new post tomorrow..

actually i wanted to do it weeks before but there were examz..
hmm. wonder why i'm mad over blogging now..

come to think of it, i might have caught the blogging bug from my sis..

oh ya. i remember i happened to chance upon a cell group member's blog one day..

her name's chenli..

her blog is so cool..

it was must have been that that inspired me to do serious blogging..
blogging's great coz next time, i will be able to look back at my thoughts and have a good laugh over them..

today's e-learning day and i spent 4hrz doing 8 pieces of assignments!

that means that i spent 30minz on each assignment!

wow! that's way too much!

hmm.. the exam papers are going to be returned tomorrow..

duno how i will fair..

anywayz just hope for the best yea..

life's so relaxing now..

hmm. i muz play some comp gamez after this..

i'm addicted to games already.. hah..

i think that's it for now..

i need to go play comp now before sis comes home and hog the comp!
